PMI Overview: 

Quantic PMI defines and manufactures mission-critical electronic components for the aerospace and defense industry, as well as commercial and industrial markets. Principal product lines include RF/microwave components.

Position Overview: 

The Production Supervisor supervises manufacturing operations and supports staff with an emphasis on teamwork, safety, and sanitation. Ensures that necessary tools, supplies, and equipment are available and utilized properly to perform production tasks effectively. Performs training, compliance, recordkeeping, and duties related to achieving production goals & objectives. 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining empathetic and professional front with customers. 
  • Acknowledging customer complaints and concerns.
  • Keeping record of customer communications, complaints, transactions and more. 
  • Maintaining good customer service by providing order repair and production status reports by email. 
  • Lead and monitor production employees including Assembly, Test, and Planning, Purchasing and Inventory Control (PPIC) employees, including temporary staff.
  • Execute production plan by scheduling staff/tasks to meet set production goals and objectives.
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to cleanroom standard procedures and regulations. 
  • Investigate and resolve production and personnel issues as they arise. 
  • Ensure production and QA details are attended to and recorded appropriately. 
  • Assist quality department by attending to Non-Warranty and Warranty repairs. 
  • Evaluate stock levels/shortages to determine what should be ordered.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate staff and recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions. 
  • Observe conditions of production floor to identify improvement opportunities and make suggestions for improvement. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required. 

Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of RF/Microwave manufacturing a plus.
  • Must have strong organizational and tactical planning skills.
  • Must have strong leadership, self-motivating and problem-solving skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus.
